Mr. Crouch is a trial lawyer. His practice focuses on toxic tort litigation, personal injury litigation and commercial litigation. Mr. Crouch has successfully resolved hundreds of cases, the majority of which involved complex legal issues. Mr. Crouch has taken the lead in coordinating the defense of numerous multi-party toxic tort cases. He served for over eight years as the chairman of the defense steering committee in massive toxic tort litigation involving over 3000 plaintiffs and 400 defendants. During that time he coordinated the efforts of law firms from all parts of Texas, as well as various regions of the United States.
Mr. Crouch serves as general coordinating counsel to some of his clients, and has given numerous training seminars on a variety of legal issues. He has successfully argued before the Texas Supreme Court.
Mr. Crouch was selected as a "Texas Super Lawyer" by Texas Monthly and Law & Politics in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. Mr. Crouch is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell.
Mr. Crouch was born in Nashville, Tennessee on September 29, 1951. He attended preparatory school at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts from 1966 to 1969. He received his B.A in 1973 from Vanderbilt University, majoring in English, and his J.D. in 1976 from Southern Methodist University where he was President of Phi Delta Phi (1975-1976), Order of the Coif, member of The Order of Barristers and an Editor of the Journal of Air Law and Commerce. He is the author of 40 Journal of Air Law and Commerce, 723, 1974. He is a member of the Dallas and American Bar Associations and the State Bar of Texas. He is proficient in Spanish.
