Mr. Shipp practices in the areas of litigation and dispute resolution. He represents a wide variety of clients on commercial, real estate, oil and gas, premises liability, product liability, personal injury and construction matters in both state and federal courts.  He also routinely counsels clients on general business matters and in all aspects of dispute resolution. Mr. Shipp is a trained mediator and has successfully used his dispute resolution training and experience to successfully resolve disputes for his clients in both his litigation and mediation practices.

Mr. Shipp’s dispute resolution training includes completion of the Harvard Law School Negotiation Workshop, the Texas Tech School of Law Negotiation Workshop, Basic Mediation Training through the American Academy of Attorney Mediators and Advanced Mediation Training through the Association of Attorney Mediators.

Mr. Shipp was born in Galveston, Texas on May 8, 1969. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Baylor University in Waco, Texas in 1991. Mr. Shipp received his law degree from Texas Tech School of Law in Lubbock, Texas in 1995, where he was an Associate Editor for the Texas Tech Law Review and on the Dean’s List.

He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1995, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern, Western, and Eastern Districts of Texas. He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Sections of both the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association. He is also currently serving as Vice President of the Dallas Chapter of the Association of Attorney Mediators.
