Brenk is Board Certified in Labor & Employment Law.  He has extensive experience representing employers in all facets of employment litigation, including claims of discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination; employment-related torts such as defamation, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress; and claims of overtime and minimum wage violations.  He also regularly represents employers in litigation involving non-competition, non-solicitation, and confidentiality agreements.

In addition to his experience at the trial level, Brenk has successfully represented companies in numerous appeals to the Texas Courts of Appeals, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Seventh Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.

As a complement to his litigation practice, Brenk also devotes significant time to advising employers in a full range of employment-related matters, including personnel policies and handbooks, drafting employment agreements, and consulting with employers regarding compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.

Mr. Johnson was selected as a "Texas Super Lawyer" by Texas Monthly and Law & Politics in 2007 and 2009.
