Tamara was born in Dallas, Texas, and received her B.A. in 2000 from the University of Texas at Dallas.  She earned her M.B.A. in 2005 from Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business and her J.D. in 2008 from Texas Tech University School of Law, where she graduated with honors and served as a Member and Comment Editor for the Texas Tech Law Review.  Tamara was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2008 and is a member of the Dallas Bar Association.
